Farm Fresh 3/30

So today I went to Farm Fresh thinking I'd grab exactly what was on my list,lol. A good tip number one is to have your coupons with you, you may never know when your gonna find a deal. Number 2, look for clearance items!

Today I found a ton of stuff I had not planned on buying but at these prices I couldn't help myself. First off Farm Fresh was double coupons today so when I made my purchase I had the mindset that I wanted just the total I would be spending without coupons so that I would limit myself,lol.

Today Farm Fresh had their Kellog's cereal 3 for 5, so I looked throught my coupons and matched them up as well as tried to get the ones that are on the rebate list, don't forget about that, I made a post with the link to get a 10 dollar Mastercard after you purchase 10 boxes of cereal. Also the Poptarts were on sale 3 for 5 and if you purchased 3 boxes of cereal you get a coupon for free milk on your next trip, this is a 3.99 money maker!!

Then another planned purchase was the success rice, if you remember another post I made, you buy 2 boxes of Success rice and the Tangled DVD and you'll get a 5 dollar rebate, again I have a link posted, just look for the Tangled posts. I also had a coupon for this as well, I wanna make money not spend it!

Now to the splurges! Farm Fresh had a set up in the freezer section for clearanced beauty products, so I matched up coupons and this is what I got, Axe body spray 2.00 minus my 1 dollar off coupon which doubled making this free!! Then there was a Garnier volume gel marked 2.00 and I had a dollar off, making this free as well. Then Herbal Essences Shampoo maked 3.00 and I got it for 1.00!!!

So my total before coupons was 63.07 and I paid 29.59!!!! Like I said, there were a few things that I got that I didn't have coupons for because I needed them but all in all this wasn't a bad trip and if you subtract the 2 free milk tickets I got it was like I paid 21.61!

Walgreens deal for today

Hi, everybody, so I did another trip to Walgreens,lol, I know, I know. But I got an awesome deal today and I had to share it. Walgreens has their Red Barron pizza on sale 2 for 5, well in this weeks newspaper there was a dollar off one, so after using 2 of those coupons and some register rewards I got all the items shown here for 1.72 and I saved 10.40!! I don't know about you guys but a deal on food like this makes me excited,lol.

CVS Deals

I got some awesome deals this week at CVS. CVS had Kraft Stove Top stuffing for 77 Cents and coupons.com had a coupon for 50 cents off, so grab this deal!
Then they had Kraft Barbaque sauce for .99 cents and last weeks newspaper had a 75 Cents off coupon!!
If your family seems to keep getting sick in this great weather,lol. Halls cough drops are 1.87 and you get a 1 dollar extra care bucks AND there was a coupon for .75 cents off in this weeks newspaper so it's like you pay .12 cents a bag!!
I purchased these items 2 boxes of Stuffing, 2 bags of halls, 3 things of Barbaque and 6 Cadberry eggs and paid 2.19 and walked away with 2 dollars in extra care bucks so it's like I paid .19 cents!!!! With matching coupons and sales my total saved was 18.74!!!!

I just saw a post on Krazycouponmom that Walgreens is going to have their brand of diapers on sale again, this time for 5.99 each, still a great price but if you still have any of your coupons from the Infant Care Booklet you can get another 2 dollars off each package you buy. There's also a spend 25 in Walgreens products and get a 10 dollar rebate! So if you want to stock up on diapers now's the time, or buy a few packs and pick up some other walgreens brand items.

E-mail companies?

I've said in my video's to e-mail companies but I've never showed you what you can get. Today I had a ton of coupons from different companies because I took a couple of days and e-mailed different companies and told them how much I love they're product and in return, they send me coupons!!! Most coupons companies send have a longer life than the coupons you get from the paper, it's totally worth it, take a few and think of stuff you buy and e-mail the company and tell them how much you love they're product and they send you coupons that sometimes don't have limits on size or price, I love those.

CVS

I really try to branch out and go to CVS, but it kind of physically hurts sometimes,lol. That's why I'm glad I took a friend on my last trip. No seriously you can get some good deals at CVS it's just that having the CVS card can be a blessing and a curse. So I'll just get straight to it here's some of the highlights.

Dawn Dish washing liquid 97cents. Now if you've kept all your coupons there was a .25 cents off coupon in the newspaper. Now, it's kind of funny, I went to Dollar general in need a TP and I needed it to be a quick trip so I over paid for toilet paper, I know don't stone me yet. I noticed on the package that there were coupons inside, now I would never pay more just to get coupons but my options were limited. Anyway, there was a coupon for the Dawn hand renewal that allowed me to get a bottle for free!!! So I don't feel so bad and there were actually some good coupons in there but wouldn't recommended doing that on purpose,lol.

Glade air freshners are on sale with card for .99cents! There has got to be a coupon out there somewhere for these I just haven't had time to find them so if you do run and get yours!!

Lysol Healthy touch, I love this thing, it has saved me a mess in my bathroom with my 2 kids. It's 12.99 and you get 6.00 extra care bucks. Again if your smart, there was a 3.00 off coupon in the newspaper a few weeks ago, use that and bring your total down or use some extra care bucks you have. It's worth it, it dispenses just the right amount of soap and it will probably save you on your soap budget,lol.

CVS also has the buy Suave products and get RR. Spend 12 and get 3, but I will tell you they have they're deodorant cheaper than walgreens and you spend more but you also get more.

Colgate Maxfresh, Max white, Max clean pay 2.99 and you get 2.00RR so it's like you pay .99 cents.

Lastly Listerine cool mint zero is 3.99 and I found a coupon on the coupon clippers website for 2 dollars off making it 1.99!! Unfortunately my CVS only had one left :-(

Hope that helps, give CVS a try you might just find some good stuff, oh and don't forget to zap your card, there's some good coupons that come out of that machine. I got a dollar off StarBucks coffee (ssshhhh don't tell Steve,lol) and it's on sale this week for 6.99 and with my dollar off I'll pay 5.99!!!

Walgreens deals 3/20-26

Hey, have you done your Walgreens run yet? If not here's some things to look out for.
Reach toothbrushes, lol, I know I've been thinking way too much about these but they're a great price and we can use them to do some good. Ok, they're .99 cents each with the in add coupon. Then if you purchase 2 you get 1.00 dollar RR, if you purchase 3 you get 2.00 dollars of RR and if you buy 4 you get 4.00 dollars in RR. Awesome!!

Plackers flossers, on sale for 2 dollars and you get 2 RR!!! Now if you want more than one pack and wanna use the RR to pay for them then you have to put something in between transactions. For instance if you were to purchase one pack and then use your 2RR you will NOT get another RR from it. Why? It's just the way it is, sorry. If you want to get more than one pack buy them individually but put something in the middle so that you'll get your RR.

My favorite for this week is a FREEBIE! Air Wick I motion. There was a coupon in this weeks newspaper for 4.00 off, Walgreens is having a buy one get one free sale, so guess what? You can use 2 of the 4.00 coupons and get it for free!!! Our Walgreens had them for 7.99 that's why I was able to get them free, some stores may differ in price.

Which brings me to another coupon tip. When something's buy one get one free you have 2 items right? Well then you get to use 2 coupons! Always look for sales like this, it's great when you can combine your store sales with your coupons, you'll save more in the long run.

Everybody knows I have an obsession with the Gillette Proglide Razor system, you have no idea the pain I have missed out on now that I have found this razor,lol. My hubby would always run out of the cheap razors at always the right time and I'd have to make a trip out to the store, not any more! I bought one out of curiosity and to my surprise my husband loves it AND one blade has lasted almost a whole month!! He shaves regularly so this is a miracle! So here's the deal. Purchase $30 dollars in Gillette products (Razor, shaving creme, deodorant and cartridges) and you'll get 10 back. Doesn't sound like a good deal? Wait there's more!! In the P&G home mailer there's a 5 dollar off coupon for the razor and in the newspaper there's a 4.00 coupon for the cartridge and the razor, plus there's been a buy one gillette deodorant and get a body wash free!

Scenario:
1 Razor 9.99
1 Cartridge 16.99
1 Deodorant 4.99
Total 31.97
Now using coupons 5.00 off Razor, 4.00 off cartridge, you've taken 9 bucks off!
Total 22.97
Now you get 10 RR and a free body wash! So it's like your paying 12.97 for a razor,cartridge,deodorant and body wash. What a deal!!

Lastly Suave products
Get 3 dollars in register rewards when you purchase 10 dollars worth (don't leave yet!!)
In this weeks newspaper there was some awesome coupons for suave. There was a buy 2 get one free coupon for the body wash and our walgreens had them for 2 bucks each.
Then there was a .50 off suave deodorant. So here's what a purchase looks like.

2 things of deodorant 4.00
Making your 10.00, then take the body wash coupon and 2 of the deodorant coupons and your total goes down to 7.00, now if your really thrifty you can use some of your RR on this to bring your total down even more. I had (2) 2.00RR from buying my plackers,lol. So that brought me to 3.00!! WOOT WOOT!!! And I left with 3 bucks in RR,lol just kidding I used them on something else but you get the picture.

So I finally got around to looking at the other flyers I got in the newspaper this week and I found something I've been lusting over for awhile now. It's the Rubbermaid 40 piece Easy find lids food storage set. Now I have looked for these things since last black friday for the best price since my store and everybody elses stores were out of them, can you tell I still hold a grudge? Anyway last week I believe it was published on Amazon for 19.99 so this is a steal, no shipping and it's only 15.99!!! Grab one before they're gone! I love these containers because they're the ones that pop together so you don't lose lids and stuff. Lord willing I'm gonna get mine!

Deals at Target

So I found some great deals at Target this week and here are some of the highlights. First off we've been digging around for toothbrushes,lol, and Target has colgate toothpaste with a free toothbrush for 1.99 which is a really great deal. Who doesn't love a free toothbrush? lol. Next deal is if you are expecting a little one, it's the Halo sleep sack blanket, it's a little warm for right now but most targets are putting their winter items on sale for about 4.98 and there is a coupon on coupons.com and it's for 4.00 dollars off!! How awesome is that? 98 cents for a great item to keep your little one warm this winter. Next item is the items you can get a gift card for. Anybody still have those coupons for the Gillette Pro Glide Razors? Or did you sign up for the P&G coupon booklet? Well, now's the time to use them. Target is giving away a 5 dollar gift card with the purchase of 2 of the Gillette Razors!

I normally don't get the opportunity to go to Target, but if you do they have some really good deals so check em' out!

This weekends deals

Ok, so this weekend was rough for sales or at least that's what it seemed like. Living in a small town it's a little harder to get the deals as our stores run out of items kind of fast. But this week I was lucky enough to get a few of the .99 cent Reach toothbrushes, but I was very lucky,lol. There was a great item on sale this week if you use plack sticks. Walgreens had plackers for 2 dollars and you got a 2 dollar register reward. So basically free!! So I got a couple,lol.

Another deal was Suave items, you buy $10 you get a 3 dollar register reward, but if your thinking like a good couponer you know you need to match up coupons with this deal and you can do better than that. So, I got 4 things of body wash at 2 dollars each making my total was 8 so I bought another thing of deodorant and it made my total 10, so then I combined (2) 2 dollar off coupons for the body wash and a .50 cent off for the deoderant as well as the 2 dollar RR (from the plackers) and another 3 dollar RR from another transaction and I paid 1.28. Total I did 6 transactions and I spent 14.41 for 48.29 worth of items, I can handle that,lol. Will post pics later.

CVS

Ok, I personally don't make as good a deals at CVS as I do at other stores so today I gave it another try because I signed up with CVS for their extra care bucks and in turn they had my e-mail address and sent me a get 5 when you spend 25. Now normally they just wanna get you into a store and you buy more stuff and spend more than you should. Be smart. I went in thinking that I'd take this opportunity to stock up on some stuff and I made sure that items I purchased were on sale and i had a coupon for every item. I ended up with a total of 41 something, in my head i was adding the amount that I would spend after adding my coupons so I ended up getting more stuff that I should have,lol. Anyway, after coupons it ended up being 21.00 total and I got a 5 extracare bucks for the next time I go to shop. What did I get for all that, well, 2 things of Gain laundry detergent, one box of tissues, 2 things of colgate toothpaste, 3 things of crest mouthwash, and other items I can't seem to remember but they're were 14 items on my transaction. I paid half price and got items that we needed but I would like to caution again the importance of not just going to buy 25 dollars worth of stuff to get 5 back. It worked out that I needed some of this stuff but any other time I will not use it unless I know I'm going spend that much and I get to win! Good luck shopping this week. Seems like it's going to be kind of sad this week at that stores but there may be a few hidden treasures.

Buying whole coupon inserts

So I've been looking around after our coupon class to find out where on earth I can find a coupon clipping service that sells the whole coupon inserts and I finally found one that posts their items early. How early I'm not sure yet and I e-mailed the company to find out, when I do I'll post it here. Anyway, you can get whole inserts as low as .55 cents!!! And that's for red plum! Shipping is a bit pricey but if your planning on buying a lot or you could go in with your favorite couponing friend and it wouldn't seem so bad. Walgreens haul today

So my man needed some cold medicine because he wasn't feeling good and I got the coupons I ordered on Monday so I figured I'd take advantage, in the haul I got 6 things of Herbal Essence, 6 things of Irish Spring Deodorant, 2 Gillette Venus Razors, 4 things of Reece's (my filler items), 4 things of shaving creme and I forgot to put the medicine in the picture,lol. I got Robitussin and Advil congestion relief. Total these items would have cost 65.39 but I did rolling Register rewards. How did I do it?

I started with the Venus Razors 7.99 and then I had a coupon for 5.00 off making my total 3.61, then I took the 4 dollar register rewards and used it with 2 Irish Spring coupons and my total was .99. Then I used the 4 dollar RR with the Herbal shampoo and my buy one get one free coupon and 2 things of shaving creme for .99 each and my total was 1.59, I did this 2 times.

Then I got the Irish spring again for .99 cents for 2, Then I got the rest and spent 7.21 and my total was 24.11.

I know that seemed like a lot of info and maybe confusing, but when you plan you too can do this. Always start with buying an item that you'll get a good Register reward and make sure you can use a coupon on the item to maximize your savings, then make your next purchase. To save all the money I did I had to do these in 8 transactions, DON"T LEAVE NOW!! lol, it's not as bad as it seems and once you've done it a few times it's totally worth it. I now have a closet full of stuff that if a family is in need or my family needs something I don't have to run out and pay full price, I have it right here. It's a great feeling and worth every minute cutting and counting.

Oh, and I have 2 register rewards left over for this weekend!!!

Walgreens toothbrushes

I heard from another blogger that this weekend Walgreens has toothbrushes for free!!!! Walgeens will have they're reach toothbrushes on sale with a coupon for .99 cents. There is also a 1.00 off coupon so in the end they're free!!!! Our church is collecting as many of these coupons as we can so we can collect them for a trip to Bolivia. Swagbucks

Ok, here's one more way to get free stuff for searching the internet like you already do looking for deals. Go to swagbucks.com and you have to download they're toolbar, basically instead of using google or something like that you use swagbucks. You click the earn tab and search for bloggs, grocery deals, stores, directions,ect and you get points periodically as you search! I've been doing it for about 2 months maybe and I've got over 1,100 swagbucks. 450 will get you a 5 dollar gift card to amazon, the more points you have the more cool stuff you can get. I have even heard of one lady getting 2 bikes for free just by using her swabucks, that's my plan for Christmas, if I start now I should be able to have a good haul come Christmas. Play around with the toolbar there's a ton of different ways to ear swagbucks and it doesn't take long.

All You magazine

So when I first started couponing I found out about how there was coupons in magazines and there's a magazine just for that! All you magazine has coupons and financial articles. All you magazine can only be found at Walmart or online, if you wait you can get a really good deal on ebates or shopathome. I purchased mine through ebates and only paid 9.97 for a year and got 9 bucks from ebates! All you magazine is not a magazine your gonna wanna through away, so while your waiting in the long lines at Walmart check it!

Ebates

Ebates is a website that you can go to to buy things online and get a percentage of your purchase price back!! You go to the website and then click on the right hand side to look up a store, it then gives you a link to the store and anything you buy you'll get a percentage back. I purchased the All you magazine from magazines.com and I got 51% back, in a few months I'll get a check in the mail for over 10 bucks and I get a magazine. I'll post about All you in a little while.

My friend mentioned this last night and then out of the blue I got an e-mail from the Pinecrest research group, they pay you for survey's, it's 3 dollars for the first one and then different amounts for different survey's, check them out I hear they're a good company to work with.
