Walmart's new coupon policy

Making Money at Walmart- One Reader’s Trip!

The new coupon policy at Walmart is definitely making a difference! Now that the policy actually says they will take the full value of your coupon, you can find ways to actually make money on your purchase or put any overage towards items that don’t have coupons.
Reader Ann sent me a copy of her receipt and this message:
“…I purchased 2 bags of Malt-o-Meal Cereal, 1/2 Gallon Silk Milk, Thomas Bagel Thins, French Bread from the bakery, Millstone Coffee, 2 Frigo String Cheeses, 3 Rayovac Batteries, 1 Excedrin Extra Strength and 6 Rolls Cottenelle toilet paper.  Total without coupons was $22.15.  After handing the cashier my coupons, the total was a negative 0.23!  The cashier kindly opened her register and handed me $0.23!  I said, “there’s nothing more fun than going grocery shopping and making money!”  The guy standing behind me was pretty impressed.  I think this was a good test of Walmart’s policy to allow coupon overage. ”
I couldn’t have said it better!  So make sure you are taking advantage of Walmart’s NEW coupon policy.  And always take it with you when you shop!
Don’t forget to check out the Walmart Deals list I have up on the site.  It features 93 Deals Under $1.00 and 6 Are completely Free or a Money Maker!
